Beer Appreciation Night

While it may not be obvious from the photo above with me enjoying a white wine at a friends wedding, I am what many call a beer fan. I enjoy sitting back with a frosty beverage, but also enjoy the fine art of making beer as well.

In mid 2007 I purchased my friends old brewing equipment and have been trying to ware it out ever since. I am still brewing with extracts and usually use ingredient kits, but I will eventually expand to all grains and invent my own recopies.

Home brewing has been a fun and rewarding hobby that my friends and I have enjoyed., stop by some time and you can enjoy it too. Or if you like, just read my beer logs.

Cheers...

~ my humble place in the digital universe ~

Beer Appreciation Night (often referred to as BAN) is an occasional gathering with my friends where we sample various types of beers and discuss them. We also have the Great Beer Challenge where people are given samples of several beers and attempt to identify whish is which. It is a lot of fun. My friends wife Vicky took a few snapshots for us all to enjoy.

By the way Vicky won the Great Beer Challenge.
